A recent Consumer analysis identified 450 different pesticides on fruits and vegetables that are considered unsafe This is terrifying and dangerous. Today about 80 % of Americans fall short of the daily requirements of fruits and vegetables One way to avoid this is too eat organic. Since organic is costly most cannot do it.
To highlight that this is not a hoax I want to cite a reputable medical journal called JAMA Journal of the American Medical Association In 2019 Internal Medicine published a study. It was found the people with the highest levels of exposure to pyrethroid pesticides were almost three times more likely to die from cardiovascular disease In a study in 2010 , 9 years earlier the Journal Pediatrics found that the children with exposure to organophosphates were more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD. Another study found those exposed to pesticides wetre linked to Alzheimer’s Disease
Why is this? Why are we still using pesticides? It is all about money. Isn’t it always about money. You can be activist against pesticides and start joining anti pesticides groups. You could stop using pestoicides in your own garden. A study should be done on individuals with a pestiicide laden diet and ones without pesticides. It would yield the results. I do not think we are prepared for the answer. The answers are already out there PESTICIDES are dangerous.
