You have to look at the work of Rudolf Steiner. In 1920 he gave 9 lectures on Bees. He stated in 100 years, there will be no bees. It is 1920 and he is not wrong. In 1918 after pandemic of Spanish flu Steiner was asked what was this all about. He said viruses are simply excretions of a toxic cell. Viruses are pieces of DNA and RNA and bud out from cell. This happen when the cells are poisoned. They are not the cause of anything
The genetic makeup is not important. Finding the virus is not the problem. Something else happened to cause all this. The cells got poisoned. They start to excrete debris which we call viruses. Viruses are very complex.
