Do you start your morning with a cup of coffee with milk and sugar? Or do you have a bacon/sausage/cheese and egg sandwich on a bagel or croissant. These options are packed with saturated fats and cholesterol, which increase bad cholesterol levels in the blood. Over time, even moderate consumption can push levels beyond what is considered safe

Then there is the dairy problem Many Americans consume too much dairy. Whole milk, cream, butter, and cheese are often found in kitchens across the country, but they carry a hidden risk. Fast food is a common go-to for busy schedules, but it is one of the worst offenders for cholesterol. Fried items like chicken sandwiches, French fries, and onion rings are cooked in oils that raise bad cholesterol levels. These foods are not only high in saturated fats but are often prepared using oils

Lastly we are all guilty of having pastries, cakes and cookies, Pastries from the store shelf or bakery case often look harmless, but they are usually filled with unhealthy fats. Muffins, donuts, and croissants contain butter, shortening, or other ingredients that spike cholesterol.
