Propolis is selective in the way it attacks certain bacteria as well as funguses and even other viruses. There are rare allergies to propolis I have never seen an allergy to it. No harmful side effects I give it to many of my patients during the winter months to protect them from the various viruses they encounter. I also believe that propolis enhances other conventional drugs. Since only one on 2000 show allergic response, it can be used safely for all individuals. Propolis protects the hive from infection as it protects the human individual.
